What a disastrous week for PickShack in their NHL Hockey picks! First off, the San Jose Sharks decided to lose their game against the Wild, most experts did not see this one coming.

Secondly, the Anaheim Ducks lost at home against the Blue Jackets. Although the Blue Jackets are playing good hockey and are in a playoff spot, the Ducks should have never lost that one.

Third, the Blackhawks lost the winter classic. Even after a nice 3-1 lead after the first period. Detroit just took it to them and the Hawks couldn't stop them. Chicago lost two games in a row against the Wings, which is too bad for them as they were fighting for top spot.

Fourth, the Canucks lost to the Trashers. This is somewhat understandable since Vancouver were on a road trip, but still, they should have won this one.

And lastly, the Flyers lost in a shootout against the Kings, in LA. The same goes for the Flyers as it goes for Vancouver, road trip, but Philadelphia should never have lost this one, especially if they want to move to top spot in the East and have home ice advantage for the playoffs.

Anyway, this wasn't a very good week for our hockey picks, and the top teams were in the Christmas spirit and gave the weaker teams wins as gifts.
