This was a good hockey week (23-27 Oct 08), but how unlucky have I been with my hockey picks?

First, on 23 Oct, I picked the Caps to beat the Coyotes. Well, the Caps will have to pick it up if they want to make it into the playoffs, and they have to win these games against teams that are not considered contenders.

Then on 24 Oct, the Sharks lost to the Panthers. How did that happen? I'm still scratching my head on this one. The funny thing is, the very next day, the Panthers lost 4-0 to the Blues.

On 25 Oct I had two picks: Ottawa and Chicago. I picked Ottawa because usually they play good against Toronto, but not this time. Until the Sens get a good number 1 goaltender, they will not win many games. As for the Hawks, they lost in shootout. That game could have gone both ways with over 80 shots combined for the whole game.

This was an unlucky week for hockey picks that should have normally be an easy one.
