How to use this calculator

The calculator uses a weight-based baseline (1/2 oz per pound / 33 ml per kg) multiplied by activity and climate factors, then adds any special-condition adjustments. The National Academies of Medicine recommends approximately 125 oz (3.7L) per day for men and 91 oz (2.7L) for women as total water intake from all sources, including food. Can you drink too much water?

Do caffeinated drinks count toward my intake?
