Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 6E vs mesh: which router do I need?
Under 30 devices and under 50 Mbps total smart-home draw, any decent Wi-Fi 6 router handles it. Above 30 active devices or 200 Mbps total, step up to Wi-Fi 6E or a mesh system. Above 50 devices or 500 Mbps, a mesh system is required (single-router signal can't reach every corner reliably).
