Headphone Test

Test your headphones for left-right stereo, frequency response, bass, treble, and possible audio issues using simple browser-based tools.

What a good headphone test should check

  • Left and right stereo channels
  • Weak or missing bass
  • Harsh or uneven treble
  • Buzzing, rattling, or distortion
  • Channel imbalance
  • Dropouts at certain frequencies

Simple test order

  1. Start with the Left / Right Test
  2. Run the Frequency Sweep Test
  3. Use the Sound Frequency Generator to isolate problem frequencies

Common signs of headphone problems

  • Left and right sound swapped
  • One side quieter than the other
  • Buzzing at bass frequencies
  • Sharp or painful treble peaks
  • Missing detail in mids or vocals

Quick troubleshooting tips

  • Try another browser or device
  • Disable EQ or sound enhancements temporarily
